U.S Responsible for Civilians Dead in Bombing

Bombing runs were the cause of death for dozens of men, women, and children trying to take cover from the fighting Taliban militants abd Afgan International Troops. Visually a witness discribed actually seeing thirty bodies may women and children.Civilian deaths have caused increasing friction between the Afghan and U.S. governments, and President Hamid Karzai has long pleaded with American officials to reduce the number of civilian casualties in their operations. Obama will be meeting with him to discuss the matter. Bringing me back to my prior point, are we still twirling our thumbs out there? Have the troops become so angry and tired of their situation that they are not following through with their missions to the best of their ability?

Obama’s Modifications to World Health Care

President Obama and his administration would like the united States to spen 63billion over the next six years fighting diseases and providing more prenatal/postnatal care. Obama agrees that “every problem cannot be fixed, But we have a responsibility to protect the health of our people, while saving lives, reducing suffering, and supporting the health and dignity of people everywhere. America can make a significant difference in meeting these challenges and that is why my administration is committed to act.”

This almost sounds like a different lkanguage to us simple Americans because for eight years not once did Bush try to reach out to the people and help with healthcare. If anything healthcare went up along with gas and groceries. I hope we can all conclude Obama has a couple extra modifications up his sleeve that most haven’t even thought of mentioning.

Obama’s Suprise Visit

President Barak Obama made a surprise appearance in Bagdad where he met with sevearl leaders to confirm the troops would be returning home by the end of 2011. He expressed that these last eighteen months will be critical for the end of the war. All troops should begin evacuating out of Iraq cities and be out of Iraq all together by the summer. There will be a small group of soldiers left behind, but will be returning home at that designated time around the end of 2011. Obama stated that it is time to transfer the power back ino their hand ultimately taking responsibility for their country. When Bush was in office it was to my understanding that we were fighing for oil and also helping the civilians. Ever since the war began we haven’t really recieved any indication that our assistance is still wanted have we?

Obama’s Concerns on Pakistan

While speaking at a prime-time news conference President Obama expresses certain intrest in the government stabilty. At the moment the Pakastans are at war with the Taliban , who are increasing their forces upon already fragile Islamabad. The country’s are slowly turning on one another and eating eachother alive. Smaller cities with little to no military units will be defeated if not destroyed.

“I am more concerned that the civilian government right now is very fragile,” Mr. Obama said, because it lacks the capacity to deliver services like health care and the rule of law. “As a consequence,” he added, “it’s very difficult for them to gain the support and loyalty of their people.”

Everyday cilivians are carrying weapons for their own protection. Others are participating in the battles themselves after their homes were destroyed and family members killed . beleiving they nolonger have nothing to live for. When the U.S troops do come to aid they can’t be trusted for past behavior with cruel interrogation techniques used by the previous adminastation. This could have ultimately destroyed anyother source of imformation unknown. “I will do whatever is required to keep the American people safe,” Mr. Obama said. “But I am convinced that the best way to do that is to make sure we’re not taking shortcuts that undermine who we are.” Are his concerns of Pakastan’s government and it’s control of it’s civilans a conflict of interest?

Is Obama Acting Responsible by Debating Our Country’s Spending?

: “I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States of America will endure, that it will prevail, that the dream of our founders will live on in our time.”

President Barak Obama has made several reforms and adjustments to the country’s budget. At the moment the U.S is in a recession and needs to be handled woth precaution. The seriousness of the situation is obvious, jobs are dwindling down to almost nothing company are going into ebt and laying off most of their employees. It was after evauating the nation’s annual spending Obama discovered that AIG, an american insurance giant had been spending millions of dollars on it’s executive’s bonuses. Now considering the economic status as a whole, these numbers are outrageous and unrealistic. Of course the outcome company was avoiding the negative attention of the Wall Street Journal’s criticism. The news spread quickly and was nationally broadcasted. Obama stated ” It is their greed and recklessness that has put their company in financial stress.” The recorded amount of spending is at 165million in extra pay. You have to wonder how such a massive amount can be approved and who else is invovled when it is the tax payers themselves that keep the company afloat. Obama expressed having a zero tolerance for wasteful spending of his 787 billion dollar stimulas package. All and every action will be taken to turn around the economy. Thus far in your own oppion has he displayed himself as the political leader taking charge of our financial stability?
